The meeting
Arturo and Ester met after Kindle recommended Arturo’s book to Ester at Christmas 2020. In 2022, he left a comment on a video she shared on her channel, and from there they began writing to each other, and she interviewed him via video conference.
The first retreat
It wasn’t until late 2023 that they decided, almost simultaneously, to write to each other to create a retreat together. When they finally decided to organize it in Mexico, they assembled the group within a few days. In February 2024, they met in person and realized it was more than just friendship.
The proposal
In September of that same year, after seven months of living together in Mexico, during one of their regular walks on the beach, Arturo got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. To which she, shocked by the surprise, replied yes!

The ceremony will be held at Ermita Mare de Déu de la Riera, in the village of Ester, and at Mas del Gaset in Riudoms, outdoors and surrounded by olive trees.
